Sam Fuller broke new ground in journalism, filmmaking and storytelling. Using his award-winning autobiography "The Third Face" as a starting point, the film consists of 12 segments, each featuring an admirer of Sam`s dramatizing their interpretation of his memoirs. Presenting recently discovered 16mm films shot by Fuller, the film tells the unconventional and adventurous life of Fuller, considered by many critics one of the greatest American directors of all times, author of classics such as "Shock Corridor" (1963), "The Naked Kiss" (1964) and "The Big Red One" (1980).
