She was first a muse for the counterculture and, later, queen of romantic ballads: Bethânia?s career relates to the social development in Brazil. To outline this trajectory, the director included other performers such as Gilberto Gil, Nana Caymmi, Miúcha, Chico Buarque de Holanda, and Caetano Veloso.
