A David & Goliath story of the Polish freedom movement told through the events of the 1982 FIFA World Cup in Spain. Through exclusive archival material, 3D animated segments, illustrations and interviews, the film presents the experiences of the key players in the Polish soccer team, interlaced with accounts of the jailed members of the Solidarity movement, following the games through a TV screen. The soccer games and the political struggles culminate in an important game against the Soviet Union.
