The impact of the word can be seen in several interviews, films, music videos, and in animation by Bill Plympton. Students and linguists scrutinize the long trajectory of the term. Comedians, actors, and writers uphold the constitutional right to use it. But there are also people who feel offended, such is the power of the word. "Fuck" and its variations are used 629 times during the 93 minutes of the documentary. Among those interviewed are singers Alanis Morissette and Pat Boone, actors Janeane Garofalo, and Billy Connolly, rapper and actor Ice-T and director Kevin Smith.
