A kiss, a happy couple. The woman is kidnapped, the man tries to save her. They run away and escape from their enemy’s secret hideout. The classical plot highlights an admiration for action films. In 14 minutes, Fast Film travels a course over the history of this mode of narrative, from a silent start down to present-day Hollywood. The producers show some 65 thousand separate scenes from 300 films with tricks of animation. The process of production went on for some two years.
