Professor Alberto and his wife Helena decide to spend a week-end in Campos do Jordão in the mountainous region of the State of São Paulo. Polydoro, a former student of Alberto?s, newly-arrived from Europe, is invited to go along with the couple. The boy is not to know that a straight-forward journey is to change all of his life. During the journey, Polydoro can not resist the charm of Helena and a casual affair is the result. Twenty-five years later, all three meet up. Embarrassment prevails. Once more, with Helena, only now Polydoro is to discover that what took place between them was not mere flirtation. Twice with Helena is based on the novel of the same name by Paulo Emilio Salles Gomes included in the book “Três Mulheres de Três PPPês”.
