Sobre o filme

Meow is a young woman drifting about, through the streets and nightclubs of Tel-Aviv. She lives in unoccupied apartments and browses through the internet chat sites. One evening, she decides to meet up with Alex, her companion on a chat site. The path to meeting, completely in the dark, is fraught with obstacles and mistaken identities. They plan to meet in a nightclub, but a bomb-man prevents the encounter. She survives the attack, but finds Alex in coma in a hospital. When she arrives at his empty apartment, the tenants call her Alex, and she assumes his identity. Meow is about to plunge into a dangerous reality. This psychological thriller describes the reality for young people living in Israel obliged, as they are, to co-exist with the unpredictable presence of bomb-men. The film, regarded as neo-noir, refers to Psycho (1960), by Alfred Hitchcock and to Persona (1966), by Ingmar Bergman. Only one scene is in color.
