The film focuses on a thirty-year trajectory of a woman married to a rich ranch owner, obliged to face a marital reality that is almost unbearable. Clotilde is a woman ahead of her time, and she cannot accept the treatment dispensed to her by her husband. Having suffered physical and moral aggression, she leaves home, becomes a woman whose marital status is separation, and thus ill-seen by society. After losing all of her rights and the guardianship of her children, she starts on a long struggle to try and recover the children.
