Sonia, the daughter of an important publisher, is making ready to fulfill her life-long dream, namely, to marry handsome Rosendo, a writer. However, he is more interested in the new prize for literature idealized by his future father-in-law, than in his bride-to-be. The wedding ceremony brings surprises to the guests – and reveals the darker side of each. The film is the second Spanish film to follow the precepts of the ‘Dogma’ movement.
