On July 1st, 1981, LA polices gets a call, coming from Wonderland Avenue, about the murder of four people. The victims were identified as Ron Launius, Billy Deverell, Barbara Richardson e Joy Miller, who were beaten to death, and Susan, found in critical state. Detectives Sam, Nico, Louis Cruz and Mike Peters are designated to take care of the case, which is at first considered as a conflict among drug dealers. As time goes by, police officers find clues that implicate John Holmes, who used to be a living legend on the porn industry. Now he lives in isolation and almost broke. The ex-actor is also meddled in a triangle, formed by his wife Sharon and his teen lover, Dawn, for whom he has a real crush. The film is inspired by true facts that astonished Los Angeles in the eighties.
