Portugal, 1340’s. This is the story of Constança, Dom Pedro’s wife and her relationship with Inês de Castro, her servant. Constança admires Inês’ extreme beauty and wishes she was as pretty as her, not with envy, but for the love of her husband she loves so much. Pedro and Constança live in a tower in the countryside, away from the world’s confusion. Little by little she sees that her husband doesn’t love her anymore and feels a strong attraction for her servant Inês.
