Three women of Hispanic origin - a grandmother, mother, and daughter - live in the U.S. and, one summer, are in search of love. All three find love through different means, where least expected. Blanca is a teenager and hates the boys in her town. She goes for a boyfriend from a neighboring town in the hopes that there, the boys will be that much different. Her mother, Rose, is sexually frustrated and begins to show an interest in her husband?s friend a real womanizer. Rosa?s mother, Dona Gallardo, about to turn 80, decides to buy a car and learn to drive. She has driving lessons from Pedro, the local gardener, and unexpected passion blossoms from the relationship between them.
