In 1963, Pasolini filmed his Assembly of Love, a documentary on sexuality in Italy in the sixties. Bruno Bigoni recovers the theme and travels the cities and countryside of Italy, from north to south, asking people what they think of sex, of eroticism, and of love. “Forty years later, nothing much has changed, although conformity and ignorance may actually have augmented”, says the director.
