A mosaic, in soft images and irresistible soundtrack, of the effusion and joy of life in Cuba. It’ like a travel journal where the sensitive camera captures ordinary and unexpected situations like a woman preparing a meal in her tiny kitchen, construction workers toiling as people sing on the street, and majestic waves crashing into a pier. In July 2006, filmmaker Fernand Bélanger passed away, leaving behind the first cut of Cuban Song. His long-time collaborators, Yves Angrignon and Louise Dugal, finished the film, respecting the spirit of their friend`s work.
