A fictional story of two lives, shortchanged by the system. Taken away from her mother`s house with an offer that was impossible to turn down from a shopkeeper in the 25 de Março, a retail center in downtown São Paulo, a little girl is being raised in an apartment. Locked up there from the ages of ten to eighteen, she is then thrown out by the shopkeeper`s furious wife. Only one person hears the screaming of her soul – Leandro, a young man on a night shift at the Municipal Morgue.
