The documentary investigates the ethical, psychological and professional boundaries that exist between biographers and their subjects, starting with the experience of journalist and writer Ernesto Rodrigues during the final stages of his 2007 biography "Jogo Duro", about the life of the former president of FIFA, João Havelange. The film exposes and calls into question the conflicts that arose when Ernesto showed the book’s manuscript to Havelange.
