Sobre o filme

In the Iraq of the eighties, during Saddam Hussein’ regime, the doctor Najla is forced to choose between her dreams and the traditions of her family. She decides to return to Kirkuk from Italy, where she was studying, to find her fiancé, a resistance fighter. Najla follows her lover into the Kurdish genocide, one of the most brutal and hidden chapters of Iraqi history.
