Although Timo is an acclaimed concert pianist, his personal life is on the rocks. One day, a strange-looking man named Leo turns up at his door. Leo turns out to be his father, who left when Timo was only three years old and has come back to answer questions about a mysterious past. To do this the two have to embark on a trip together and hit the road going north. During the road trip, Timo learns exactly who his father is and what led him to abandon him.
