Casim Khan is a successful DJ, who hosts some of the liveliest parties in Glasgow and dreams of buying his own club. His parents are Pakistani and fervent Muslims. As a means to keep their customs and traditions intact, they plan their son’ marriage to a cousin who is about to arrive in Scotland. Opposing his parents‚Äô plans, Casim falls in love with a young European Catholic girl, Roisim, a teacher at the school where his sister, Tahara, studies. As their relationship becomes known, it turns into a scandal and a true clash of personalities and cultures erupts in their communities.
