Pierre is 58 years old and is becoming more and more anguished by loneliness, the passing of time and the world outside. He turns to drugs and closes himself to the outside world, hiding within himself, the only shelter in which he feels less pain, waiting for an inspiration that doesn’t come to help him return to his writing. Not even an old friend who has known him for over thirty years is close by to help console him. He then decides to take a young man on as his companion, an HIV-positive gigolo who brings him some relief from his ghosts. As he usually does in his movies, the director Jacques Nolot is the protagonist of the story.
