Ander is forty years old and leads an everyday life between his job at a bicycle factory and cultivating a small garden at the home he shares with his mother and sister. One day, he suffers an accident and breaks his leg. Against his mother’ wishes, the family hires a Peruvian immigrant, José, to take care of the house and the garden. The arrival of the new caretaker changes Ander’ life as he begins to have unexpected feelings and experience great inner conflict. His relationship with his best friend Peio and Reme, the local prostitute, also changes with the arrival of this new man.
