Iiris Vaara is thirty and lives in a world of dreams of the cinema, obviously waiting for a great love that will release her from lethargy and afford her more palpable fantasies - just as in the films she watches so obsessively. Nobody is surprised when she falls for a young film director with a wolf?s grin who knows how to correspond perfectly to her yearnings, never missing a chance in the film-like dialogs he engages in with her. But what will happen when the stock of witty repartee comes to an end? And when the illusion of infinite intelligence she credits her beloved with begins to fray?
