Three men are in severe trouble during the Great Depression. Millionaire Charles Howard loses all, young Johnny ‘Red’ Pollard is in despair, and cowboy Tom Smith is also in a bad way. However, a horse changes their luck : Seabiscuit, a horse that becomes a great winner. Although race horses have produced many stories in the United States : from Man o’ War, in the twenties, to Secretariat, in the seventies : no other animal had so much impact on the lives of people as Seabiscuit. Based on real facts, the story is an adaptation from the book by Laura Hillenbrand.
