Director Jordi Feliu uses the logic of the absurd from Lewis Carroll`s tale to highlight the absurdity of the logic of fascism. In this sense, he uses the political force of surrealism and cinematographically narrates a tale for adults, showing a series of decisive moments from General Franco`s Spain from 1936 to 1975. The character Alice is played by three actresses to reinforce the idea of ethnic plurality.
