Recently discharged from a mental hospital, Albert returns to the family farm, which is now under the care of his cousin, Hans. When Hans is hospitalized, Albert finds the perfect chance to prove that he is also capable of working as a farmer. This situation, however, doesn`t last long. Albert is again marginalized by the local inhabitants when Hans leaves the hospital. Constantly ridiculed, he ends up having outbursts of eccentricity and emotional lack of control, having to be hospitalized again.
