A teacher, activist, and guardian of Amazonian knowledge, Dona Onete became a music icon at the age of 72 — but her story began long before that. Filmed among the rivers and forests of Pará, this documentary captures Onete singing of banzeiros, river dolphins, and the flavors of the forest with humor and wisdom, in a celebration of the living Amazon that pulses through her voice.
