Balthazar “Balthy” Malone is a teenager from a wealthy New York family who tries to impress his classmate, an activist, by posting videos on social media calling for stricter gun control laws. His emotional videos soon catch the attention of an online profile that claims to be planning a school massacre. Balthy then travels to Texas in an attempt to prevent this impending tragedy and befriends the potential shooter.
