Charming, passionate, and totally irresponsible, young novelist Werther is sent to the city at his mother’s request. By chance, he meets the lovely Charlotte, whose beauty and commitment to her fiancé, Albert, will turn Werther’s life upside down. Werther begins an emotional affair with Charlotte while developing an awkward friendship with Albert. The more this trio becomes entangled, the harder it is to deal with the complexities of desire, affinity, and love. This romantic comedy is a modern reinterpretation of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe’s book.
