A day in the life of Malaika, an albino teenager, in the rural region of Northeastern Brazil. Sunlight is a threat, as is her daily routine with her mother, Isabel, a Black woman who works for a bourgeois family. While Malaika searches for her identity in the world, a wolf prowls her path.
