Sobre o filme
He Daming is afflicted with a terminal illness. Accompanied by his wife Huiying, he returns to his hometown, which he hasn’t visited for some 30 years. It is his dying wish to see his father one last time, after they have cut ties with each other for years. Daming hopes for redemption, but he chooses self-abuse as a way of communicating with his father, causing deep torment and pain for all three in the family.
