The animation follows Isak Borg, first secretary of the Swedish Embassy in Pyongyang. Despite his work as a diplomat, he maintains a secret relationship with Bok-joo, a local traffic officer. One day, after a suspicious man is seen at the place where they used to meet in secret, Bok-joo disappears. As his departure date approaches, Borg begins searching for Bok-joo and starts to suspect his interpreter, Lee Myeong-jun.
