Emerging from the shadows of the rubber boom, the forgotten stories of Omarino and Aredomi are recovered in a sensory journey that intertwines the filmmaker Tatiana Fuentes Sadowski’s personal story with early 20th-century Amazonian archives. The film is a cinematic ritual that explores the boundaries of research and speculation while reflecting on power, memory, reparations, and the profound dialogue between the living and the dead.

The film received a Special Mention in the Documentary Award at the Berlin International Film Festival, as well as the critics’ prize in the Forum section of the same festival.
