César has worked calmly in a chemical products factory for more than 20 years. One afternoon, he receives a letter from his sister informing him that she has
sold the family land in the mountains. César decides to leave his job and set out on a journey to that area, with the goal of retrieving the urn containing Elena’s ashes buried there. As he walks, he faces the grief he has silently carried for years. The land of his childhood is no longer the same — forest fires and the advance of private property have changed everything. But the encounters along the way open him to a world he had refused to face after living shut away
in his work.
