Ana is an actress on the eve of turning 40, who unexpectedly returns to the countryside for a few days to spend the weekend with her grandmother at the country house. When she arrives, she reunites with her mother, a writer with whom she has never had a good relationship since leaving her in the care of her grandmother when she was little. The moments between the three are uncomfortable, with no display of affection. Ana’s secret abortion due to an unplanned pregnancy moves her prospect of becoming a mother and makes her understand her own mother’s life, on this weekend to heal from burdens and secrets carried for generations.
