Alex, Greger and Henrik go for a hunting weekend in the remote Swedish woods. An initial moment of hunting success sharpens their instincts and stirs a sense of rivalry. Suddenly, all the animals in the forest mysteriously disappear, and amidst the intrigue that arises over the events, the men become obsessed with the idea that the hunt must continue, no matter how dangerous and absurd the consequences may be.
