In August 1965, the Beatles arrived in New York to perform at Shea Stadium for the first time. However, the documentary goes beyond the band’s performance, showcasing the broader historical context of that era, highlighting events such as the New York World’s Fair and the Watts Riots in Los Angeles. The film is a cinematic poem of that generation, embedded in its own history.
