Ami is a teenage girl with a special ability to communicate with the spiritual world. Haunted by recurring apparitions, she embarks on a journey from Singapore to Japan to uncover the mystery of her strange dreams and her mother’s disappearance years ago. On arrival in Tokyo, a cynical taxi-driving uncle whom she meets for the first time becomes her custodian. He reluctantly guides her to the family hometown, on a road paved with hauntings and hallucinations. Amidst the transforming landscapes, Ami’s enigmatic dreams and lost mother unveil their true nature.
