We are in a village where the electricity was cut off, right in the war zone in Donbas after the Russian invasion in 2014. Sergiich and Pashka were enemies when they were children, today they are neighbors and the remaining miners in the bombed region. They are on opposing sides and opinions, although one’s window shows the other’s reality, and vice versa. It is in this context that the arrival of a Russian sniper in the region will force them to confront a new reality for both: adapt or resist. Presented at the International Film Festival Rotterdam.
