Dan, a melancholic middle-aged construction worker, is grieving a family tragedy. Apart from his wife and from his talented —yet problematic— daughter, Dan finds consolation in a community of amateur actors. They are working in a low budget theatrical production of William Shakespeare’s “Romeo and Juliet”. Seeking resilience, Dan decides to join the team —and ends up facing his deepest emotions.
