Mi Xun returns to his hometown after learning of his father’s accidental death. Facing family and friends again, he feels alienated and lost. Filled with remorse and guilt, he is haunted by nightmares. Memories shift and reconstruct themselves continuously in his mind. The past, sealed in dust, slowly reveals itself, and hidden feelings emerge. As dreams and hallucinations invade Mi Xun’s real life, he decides to make a film about them. In this fictional world, he reunites with his father and gives him a proper farewell.
