Three over-40 friends audition for a coveted role in a movie. While they wait for the audition process, one of them interviews a former literature professor. That voice takes us to their past and we discover that, in literature, they are capable of dreaming and having hope in a way that the real, monotonous and pathetic world does not allow. As they remember the past, the bonds of their friendship become increasingly diffuse, leading them to an uncomfortable love triangle.
