Celso Luccas and José Celso Martinez Corrêa`s camera follows the Mozambican people`s celebration of independence. It is the night of June 25, 1975, when the Mozambicans celebrate their liberation, a struggle that involved combat against Portuguese troops and the fall of Portugal`s fascist regime. Filmed in 16mm, "25" was screened at the 1st edition of the Mostra, in 1977, without the presence of José Celso Martinez Corrêa and Celso Lucca, exiled at the time.
