A drifter wanders through the labyrinthine metropolis of São Paulo. Like a “peddler of metaphors”, she invites passers-by to see inside her mysterious box, a dark chamber, where scenes of astonishment are revealed. The inside and outside of the box begin to merge, the real and the poetic get mixed up, bringing to light deep Brazilian contradictions. Inspired by the legacy of the poet Federico Garcia Lorca.
