David is on his way to Fortaleza, his hometown, to present one of his films at a local film festival. Upon his arrival, the Covid-19 pandemic begins to spread rapidly across the country: a lockdown is declared, the festival gets suspended and his flight home is canceled. Alone, David is forced has no other alternative but to look for his father, Geraldo, an eccentric man whom he hasn’t seen or talked to in over ten years. When David arrives at Geraldo’s apartment, strange things start to happen.
