Sobre o filme

Sam makes a living as a smuggler, helping illegal immigrants to cross borders. He meets Amal, a 12-year-old girl who got lost from her family during the war in Syria. She believes her parents are on the way to Sweden and is determined to set off on a journey to find them. Reluctantly, Sam agrees to help her. An unlikely friendship is born, and the trip will change Sam and Amal’s lives forever.
