At her grandmother’s funeral, Johanna decides to confront her problematic family. Furious, she dedicates herself at work, in a newspaper, to get a distraction. She runs into an old photo, of a female concentration camp guard. Johanna steps up and confronts the woman —and a sense of danger, which she cannot quite understand, starts to take over.
