A portrait of a version of the painter Paul Gauguin’s (1848-1903) unknown story: how was his life in Panama and his last day in Tahiti? On the island, he faces trial, charged by French authorities. At the same time, he is forced to paint a masterpiece in order to save his 5-year-old son, while he needs to deal with a disease and the contrast between madness and sanity.
