An Armenian filmmaker searches for locations to his next project, a film that will investigate the medieval roots of his country. In a mix of fiction and almost documental images, the director meets different people along the way. The complex geopolitical realities which impact the region also catch the director’s eye, in a staging that walks between the mundane and the transcendental.
