On his birthday, young Parvis steals a bottle from the bar at a dance club. He is caught and, as he is the son of exiled Iranians, is sentenced to community services at a refugee shelter in Saxony, Germany, where he lives. There, he falls in love with Amon, who fled Iran with his sister, Banafshe. The trio enjoy a summer of fiercing parties, first loves, fleeting youth —and the realisation that none of them feel at home in Germany. In this semi-biographical movie, the filmmaker offers a sensitive view on migrants in German territory.
