Since his parents died, the teenager Burak lives with his grandmother and his uncle, Cemil, in a small village in Turkey. They make a living selling pomegranates —but, while Cemil is happy with a simple life, Burak wants to move to a big city and study in college. When the grandmother gets sick, the two men need to make tough decisions.
